Beautifully renovated, the owners of this Surrey Hills residence have successfully retained the period features of their home. Our challenge was to come up with a heating and cooling solution that also preserved these features. Ducted reverse cycle air conditioning was not an option as the decorative ceiling could not be disturbed. Considered by some to be obtrusive, we have succeeded in strategically placing separate Daikin split system air conditioners throughout the house resulting in an effective cooling system that is pleasing to the eye.

For heating, the owners chose hydronic heating with a Radiant boiler and Korado radiators to provide warmth throughout their home. Korado Radik Klasic ribbed radiators blend in with the period features and the clever placement of towel rails above radiators in the bathrooms ensure towels are always dry.
