Nestled in bushland but with sea views, this showcase property in Red Hill is one of our most challenging projects to date. Our brief was to integrate heating and cooling into the open plan, free flowing home. To achieve this we selected a variety of systems.

Daikin VRV air conditioning allowed us to install concealed Daikin ducted bulkhead systems and Daikin ducted systems all connected to just one outdoor condensor. These systems are fitted off with white aluminium bar grills and linear slot diffusers that blend seamlessly into white panelled ceilings. Where we were structurally prevented from using a grill a multi-directional register was used.

Hydronic heating using a Radiant 98.3% efficient condensing boiler and Korado radiators provides a barrier to the cold ocean air, while feet are kept warm in the bathrooms using Devi under tile electric heating. Owners and guests take advantage of the spectacular views as Thermofilm Heatstrips encourage year round dining in the Al Fresco area.
